Lidor Levy, who was stabbed in a Palestinian terror attack, died of his injuries, Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Medical Center announced on Thursday.

Levy was one of three injured when a Palestinian began stabbing people at a mall in Gan Yavne, near Beer-Sheva on Sunday.

“Lidor was an exemplary father, partner, brother and son, a man full of love, nobility and devotion,” the family said in a statement. “An anchor for his family and a role model for those around him. The purpose of his life was to help people with modesty and humility. Lidor left a huge void in our hearts, we will continue to live according to the values he instilled in us for his perpetuation.”

The terrorist, identified as 19-year-old Moamen Faiz Mahmoud Khalil from the village of Dura, near Hebron, was shot and killed by a responding police officer. Khalil did not have any permits to be in Israel.

Levy, a 34-year-old software engineer, is survived by his pregnant wife and a six-month-old baby.

The attack came during the Islamic month of Ramadan when Palestinian terror attacks surge. Ramadan ends on April 9 but is immediately followed by the Eid al-Fitr holiday and police are bracing for further violence.

Earlier on Thursday, Israeli authorities announced that they had broken up an 11-man terror cell plotting to assassinate Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir as well as three Palestinians planning attacks in Jerusalem on behalf of Islamic State.

Since October 7, Israeli security forces have arrested 3,700 Palestinian terror suspects in Judea and Samaria, of whom 1,600 are associated with Hamas.
