Warsaw Ghetto Uprising

This week, we commemorated 80 years since the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, where Jews fought for their freedom from the Nazis. Today the IDF continues this mission.

Throughout the ages, the Jewish people have had to fight for their freedom from their oppressors. From Egypt to modern-day antisemitism, the Jewish people have and will always defend their rights to freedom and safety.

80 years ago, on April 19, 1943, the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the largest uprising by Jews during World War II, began and is considered one of the most significant historic events and a symbol of Jewish resistance.

Today, the Jewish people continue to defend themselves and their freedom in their homeland thanks to the IDF. This is our story.
