Gaza Rocket, Ashdod beach

The rocket is believed to have fallen during ‘Operation Guardian of the Walls’ a few weeks ago.

Most of the rockets fired from Gaza are intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome defense system, however, there are some that manage to hit targets and yet others that fall but fail to explode.

One of those rockets was found on Sunday on a beach in Ashdod.

It is believed the rocket was fired from Gaza during “Operation Guardian of the Walls” in May.
