IDF soldiers say the prayer for travelers, Tefilat HaDerech, before entering Gaza.

The prayer is usually said by travelers asking God for a safe return from their journey.

The text of Tefilat HaDerech: ‘Save us from every enemy and ambush… grant me grace, kindness, and mercy in Your eyes and in the eyes of all who see us.’
