On Saturday night, Israel launched its second-dose vaccine push with Prime Minister Netanyahu being the first to receive the shot.
Israel has already successfully vaccinated more than 1.5 million of its 9.3 million citizens with the two-dose vaccine made by the Pfizer pharmaceutical company.
This past Saturday night began the second-dose vaccine push, with Prime Minister Netanyahu being the first to receive the shot. Health Minister Yuli Edelstein was second.
Before receiving the shot,Netanyahu announced a deal with the Pfizer company that would enable all Israelis age 16 and up to be fully immunized against the coronavirus within two months.
“We entered the coronavirus together, we will get out of it together…first in the world, stronger than ever,” said Netanyahu.
