After 471 harrowing days in captivity, three Israeli women—Doron Steinbrecher, Romi Gonen, and Emily Damari—have finally returned home, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed late Sunday.
The trio is now en route to Ramat Gan, where they will undergo medical and psychological evaluations.
Awaiting them at Sheba Medical Center are their families, eager to embrace their loved ones in a heartfelt reunion that has been over a year in the making.
