Want to experience life on planet Mars? Israel’s desert is the closest thing to what life on the red planet would be like.
Humanity has yet to reach Mars, but these Israeli researchers taking part in the D-MARS project in the Israeli desert got as close as anyone ever has to experiencing life on the red planet.
Earlier this year, six Israeli scientists, dubbed “Ramonauts,” spent four days in an enclosed Mars simulation habitat and tested all mission-related aspects.
