Al-Jazeera said Omar Mofeed “helped draft” an anti-Israel motion that was passed at the UK Labour conference. Here’s what you need to know about Mofeed.
Can you imagine the son of a Hamas minister drafting anti-Israel motions for the United Kingdom’s Labour party?
Well, that’s exactly what happened recently, when a pro-BDS motion was passed at the UK Labour Conference labeling Israel an “apartheid state.”
Omar Mofeed, the son of Mufid al-Mukhalalat, Hamas’s health minister during its 2012 government, drafted the resolution. Mofeed’s own antisemitic and anti-Israel posts show that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
