A daring rescue operation carried out in the dead of the night was lauded by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as ‘one of the best operations ever conducted in Israel.’

The stealthy mission brought home two Israeli hostages from deep inside Gaza in the clutches of Hamas. The training and coordination between security forces was unheralded.

Yamam soldiers shielded the hostages from oncoming fire and bundled them onto a helicopter, who flew them straight to the hospital. There were no injuries to our forces or the hostages.
