How can there be a living tree in the Dead Sea, where no living plant can survive?

The shores of the Dead Sea are the lowest on earth.

It’s called the Dead Sea because no living plant can survive there.

In Hebrew, however, it is known as Yam Hamelach, which translates to “the sea of salt.”

In fact, it is really a lake, not a sea.

People come from all over the world to enjoy this exquisite oasis and the wonderful healing properties of the Dead Sea waters, located in the Judaean Desert.

Watch this video and learn about a unique project that enabled a sole tree to exist in these inhospitable conditions.
