Israeli mothers on the Gaza border have 15 seconds to save their children’s lives from Hamas’ rockets. What do their lives look like?

They wonder which child to unbuckle first in the car under rocket-fire. Which baby bed to run to first. Counting their kids in the bomb shelter, making sure all got to safety.

Despite the suffering, Israeli mothers also feel empathy for the mothers on the other side of the fence.
