Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral Friday morning of Israel’s latest terror victim.

According to one source, the IDF was limiting the number of attendees due to security considerations.

Yehuda Dimentman, 25, was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting in Samaria Thursday afternoon. Shot in the neck, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transferred to Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikvah.

Two other passengers were lightly wounded and treated at Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba.

Dimentman, married and the father of a nine-month-old, was a yeshiva student in the community of Homesh in Samaria. He lived nearby in the settlement of Shavei Shomron.

Aviah Entman, a fellow passenger, spoke to reporters about Dimentman from the hospital, Times of Israel reported.

“He was my friend. He was a really good guy. He was a very sweet person and was welcoming to everyone…He was fun to have as a friend. We didn’t have any fear of a shooting. We didn’t think it could happen.”

The other passenger, Neria Feldman, said, “Yehuda was sitting behind me and yelled that he had a bullet in his neck and really started to have a hard time breathing. I was calling into emergency services so they would know where we were.

“Aviah and I were taken to the hospital in an ambulance when we found out that Yehuda was no longer with us,” he said.

“Here we are once again with the forces of good and evil in the world on full display – a world that has those who murder and those who are murdered,” said Joshua Hasten, International Spokesperson for the Gush Etzion Regional Council. “A world in which there is cruelty versus love.  A world where you have destroyers of the land and those who build it.

“On this difficult evening, we send our condolences to the bereaved family, wish the wounded a speedy recovery, strengthen and support the dear residents of Samaria along with all of the residents of Judea and Samaria, and send our love to the students of the Homesh Yeshiva.”
