WATCH: Jerusalem Holy Sites are ‘Purely Islamic’, Says PA Leader Abbas’ Adviser

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ adviser on Religious and Islamic Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, claims the UNESCO resolution denying Jewish historical ties to Jerusalem is a victory for truth, justice and all of humanity.

Jerusalem is occupied Palestinian land, Al-Habbash stated in a sermon earlier this month – broadcast on Palestinian Authority TV – in the presence of PA chairman Abbas.

Jerusalem – in particular, the Al-Aqsa Mosque (on the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site) and the Western Wall – are purely Islamic and Palestinian assets, he continued, adding that only Muslims have the right to Al-Aqsa.
