Ahead of his trip to Europe, the Israeli leader vowed to “present Israel’s truth without fear and with head held high.” And he did!
After meeting at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Sunday, French President Emmanuel Macron “firmly and clearly” condemned terror attacks against Israel in recent days while reaffirming his “disapproval” of US President Donald Trump’s move to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
“Paris is the capital of France, Jerusalem is the capital of Israel,” Netanyahu responded. “We respect your history and your choices. And we know that as friends, you respect ours.”
