The Albanian leader thanked members of the IDF aid delegation for their efforts in the disaster-stricken nation after a devastating earthquake.
An IDF delegation to Albania provided invaluable aid after a 6.4-magnitude quake struck Albania’s capital of Tirana, claiming the lives of over 50 victims and injuring thousands of others.
Ten experts from the IDF’s Home Front Command are assessing damage and managing relief efforts, in addition to making critical judgments regarding which buildings can be entered and used, TPS reported.
On Monday, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama told the Israel team, “[Albania] is grateful to the State of Israel for its immediate help while [it] is facing the post-earthquake emergency. God bless these great guys.”
