The Inquisition was a brutal, genocidal campaign on the Iberian peninsula over 500 years ago that claimed countless Jewish lives.
While the Jews that did survive were forced to convert to Catholicism and were persecuted mercilessly, many of them secretly maintained Jewish traditions, handing them down from generation to generation.
