A community that was just a few weeks ago Israel’s “coronavirus capital” is now clear of the virus.

Kiryat Yearim is a large religious suburb of Jerusalem and much of the community was exposed to coronavirus while attending a large holiday party one month ago.

The town leadership took decisive action to combat the outbreak, implementing and enforcing far stricter restrictions than the Ministry of Health required at that time.
