How could the Palestinian Authority be considered a partner for peace when senior officials consider any cooperation with Israel worthy of the death penalty?
The Palestinian Authority and Fatah have always vocally condemned so-called “normalization” with Israel, notes Nan Jacques Zilberdik of Palestinian Media Watch (PMW).
Fatah official Abbas Zaki stated that anyone who cooperates with Israel “should be shot,” he adds.
This includes “economic normalization” and Israeli-Palestinian sports for youth – all considered treason by the PA and its ruling Fatah party.
