hate speech social media

Governmental organizations and NGOs around the world have adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism. So should social media platforms.

Many forms of antisemitism are being spread using social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and TikTok.

While these platforms do have guidelines against hate speech, somehow Jew-hatred squeezes through the cracks.

Indeed, when antisemitic content is reported, it doesn’t always fall within their broad definition of hate speech and is therefore permitted.

That’s why it’s so important that social media platforms clearly define antisemitism in all its forms.
