Upon announcing the historic UAE-Israel peace agreement, Trump asks David Friedman to explain the moniker ‘Abraham Accord.’

“The problems of the Middle East can only be solved when people of all faiths come together to fight Islamic extremism and pursue economic opportunity for people of all faiths,” US President Donald Trump said regarding his announcement of the UAE-Israel peace accord on Thursday.

He then asked US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman to explain why the agreement is dubbed the “Abraham Accord.”
