US Defense Secretary reaffirms Washington’s commitment to Israel’s security, thanks Gantz for his “personal efforts.”

US Defense Secretary Mark Esper, in a meeting Thursday at the Pentagon with his Israeli counterpart, reiterated America’s commitment to Israel’s security.

He and Israeli Alternate Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benny Gantz, who traveled to Washington for the occasion, signed a joint agreement on maintaining Israel’s qualitative military edge.

The US commitment to Israel’s security is “ironclad,” Esper said.
