Presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis rebuked a reporter who equated Islamophobia with antisemitism.
He pointed out the numerous examples of anti-Jewish hatred on college campuses and global rallies and said that there is a ‘false equivalence’ between the discrimination faced by Jews and Muslims.
He asserted that Jews were the most targeted ethnic group for hate crimes in the world and in the United States, and no other group came close to their level of persecution.
