Roi Yanovsky, an Israeli Channel 13 news journalist, finished his reserve duty fighting Hamas in Gaza for 100 days and reflected on impactful moments and thoughts during his stint.

He observed that Hamas ideology was prevalent everywhere, with hateful and antisemitic imagery normalizing violence toward Israel. Puzzles, pictures, and even calendars were fraught with Hamas propaganda.

Roi also noticed that most Hamas terrorists blended with the civilians by wearing no uniform and attacked troops with weapons stored throughout every neighborhood and in civilian houses.
