The IDF consists of some of the strongest people the world has ever seen, with many soldiers battling devastating injuries sustained on Oct. 7 or in combat in Gaza following Hamas’ bloody invasion.
Dor Almog is one of those courageous men, fighting every step of the way. He was critically wounded in a building collapse that resulted in the death of 21 soldiers, including 14 from his own unit.
His path to recovery was fraught with immense difficulties, but Dor exemplified what it means to be a true fighter and has since recovered magnificently, giving hope to many who are still searching for a way through the darkness.
WOW WOW WOW!!!
I am proud to have met this soldier named Dor Almog and interviewed him at a party we threw for his unit.
He is the sole survivor of the building collapse incident that occurred in Gaza which took the lives of 21 soldiers, 14 of them were in his unit. https://t.co/v0LI8pSQg0 pic.twitter.com/QGceZyjvV4
