Commander Itzik Buzukashvili, along with his daughter Liel, courageously fought off Hamas terrorists on October 7th, saving many lives.

When Itzik learned that other kibbutzim were under attack, he rushed to defend the community. Tragically, he later fell in an RPG attack, but not before saving more people.

Today, Liel received her father’s weapon, now inscribed with a verse from Psalms: “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.”

Commander Itzik Buzukashvili fell in battle on October 7th while bravely fighting Hamas. In his final hours, he fought alongside his daughter.

Today, his daughter Liel receives her father’s personal weapon.
