United Hatzalah recently celebrated the contributions of over 1,000 female medical volunteers, including doctors, paramedics, and first responders. These women have been vital in providing emergency care, especially during critical moments like the October 7th attacks.

The event highlighted the Adele and Joel Sandberg Women’s Unit, Israel’s first all-female emergency medical team, which has handled over 72,000 emergency calls.

Set to double in size by 2025, the unit reflects the growing role of women in life-saving efforts across Israel, showcasing their leadership and inspiring future generations.
