Nova Survivor Who Eliminated Terrorists in Jaffa Rail Attack Thanked by People He Saved

Eight people were killed in a terrorist shooting on Jerusalem Boulevard in Tel Aviv-Jaffa on Tuesday night.

Lev Kreitman, who survived the Nova Music Festival attack on October 7th, described how he eliminated terrorists at the Jaffa light rail station last week.

Eight people were killed in a terrorist shooting on Jerusalem Boulevard in Tel Aviv-Jaffa on Tuesday night. Three others are in serious condition, and additional people were wounded in the attack.

Kreitman described how a simple shopping trip turned into a heroic action.

“I was shopping in a nearby store when I heard shots. I stepped out, pulling my gun. I spotted another armed civilian; we started inching closer,” he said.

“We noticed civilians laying on the ground, unfortunately dead,” he added.

“I identified two terrorists and started moving forward very slowly. One of them noticed me and started moving in my direction. The second ran off in a different direction. I surprised him [the first terrorist] from the side and shot,” he explained.

“I understood right away that it was a terror attack. I was in Gaza for half a year; I tried to do my best in an unimaginable situation.”

Lev Kreitman said that the military didn’t issue the weapon he used but was his pistol he applied for after serving in Gaza for five months.

He added, “The other armed civilian went to check on the wounded civilians but found there was nothing they could do, and in the meantime, all the rescue services had begun to arrive.”

On Wednesday, Lev Kreitman laid a wreath in honor of the victims who were killed in the attack, and as he did so, people standing by said, “This is the guy who killed the terrorist; he saved my life!”

A group of people then flocked around Kreitman and thanked him for his bravery.

“I came here to make arrangements, and place flower wreathes at the scene. I need to give my condolences to the victims’ families and pray for the wounded’s recovery. In the end, our enemies are afraid when we are united.”
