To date, Temple Institute researchers have reconstructed more than 70 primary and secondary sacred vessels.

The Temple Institute, founded in 1984 in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem by Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, has been operating for over 40 years out of a deep belief that the building of the Temple and the arrival of the Messiah are closer than ever.
Its researchers do not settle for theoretical study alone but actively engage in both spiritual and practical preparation.
The institute’s activities focus on three central tracks: in-depth halachic research of the laws regarding the Temple service, advocacy and education to spread awareness among the general public, and the actual construction of service vessels, the altar, and priestly garments.
These are made according to comprehensive Jewish scholarly literature and Jewish law, observing all strict traditions with the approval of renowned rabbis possessing extensive knowledge in this sacred and complex field.
In 2013, the “Temple Museum” was established on the institute’s premises, alongside a gift shop, a youth center, and a bookstore publishing the institute’s extensive research works on the Temple and its vessels.
From the Golden Menorah to the High Priest’s Garments
To date, Temple Institute researchers have reconstructed more than 70 primary and secondary sacred vessels; all are crafted from original materials, including gold, silver, and copper, and are kosher and suitable for immediate use in the Temple when it is rebuilt speedily in our days.
Among the prominent vessels created are the pure gold Menorah, the flagship vessel currently displayed in the Jewish Quarter; the Showbread Table; the Incense Altar; the Ark of the Covenant with the cherubim; the copper Laver; and the High Priest’s garments embedded with the Breastplate stones.
Preparing for the Day After
In addition to the major vessels, many portable service items have also been manufactured. These include basins for receiving sacrificial blood, censers, silver trumpets, and musical instruments for the Levites.
The comprehensive work of the Temple Institute researchers ensures that the moment the Third Temple is built, service inside can begin without any delay.
