Israel is showcasing a range of advanced, battle-tested defense technologies at one of North America’s largest military exhibitions this week, as the country pushes to further expand its booming defense exports.
The Defense Ministry’s International Defense Cooperation Directorate, known as SIBAT, is leading a delegation of 19 Israeli defense companies at the AUSA 2026 Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C.
Organized by the Association of the United States Army, AUSA is considered the largest and most prominent land warfare exhibition in North America.
The Israeli national pavilion will feature operationally proven technologies developed for a range of battlefield challenges, including systems that intercept drones using nets, technology designed to protect against GPS jamming and remotely operated systems capable of detecting explosives from the air.
Other technologies on display include robotic systems, AI-powered thermal imaging capable of operating in darkness, smoke and fog, hybrid engines designed to extend drone flight times and flexible solar panels for charging equipment in the field.
Israel’s participation comes as the Defense Ministry pursues a broader effort to significantly expand the country’s defense exports, which surpassed a record $19.2 billion in 2025.
“The participation of 19 Israeli companies at AUSA, the largest land warfare exhibition in North America, reflects our confidence in the capabilities of the Israeli defense industry and their value to the United States and other countries,” SIBAT Director Brig. Gen. (res.) Yair Kulas said.
Kulas said the Israeli companies will meet with representatives of the U.S. military and its partners while presenting systems that have already been proven under operational conditions.
Alongside established defense companies, Israel’s pavilion will also highlight small and medium-sized firms developing innovative technologies.
“As part of the Defense Ministry’s strategy, we will work to maximize this important platform at AUSA to expand defense cooperation and the strategic partnership with the United States and a range of other countries,” Kulas said.
The participating companies are AccuBeat, Ashot Ashkelon Industries, ASIO Technologies, CTI Intl-Solutions, Dagan-Optics, IMCO Industries, infiniDome, Lowental Hybrid, Magam Safety, Orbit Communication Systems, ParaZero Technologies, Paxis, Redler Technologies, Sol Security Labs, Solarpaint, Steadicopter, Supergum Industries, Thermal Beacon and Tracense Systems.
