Jerusalem terror

A 15-month-old baby lost his leg in a Jerusalem terror attack on Monday.

A Palestinian terrorist sped with his car into a group of Israelis at a bus stop near the western entrance to Jerusalem mid-afternoon on Monday. He wounded 11 people, including a 15-month-old toddler, who lost his leg as a result.

The baby was rushed to a Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital, where surgeons operated on him for several hours. Attempts to prevent amputation were unsuccessful.

He was the most seriously wounded in the attack. The family are immigrants from France.

Five other victims remain in Shaare Zedek hospital, including a woman in the intensive care unit.

The terrorist, later identified as 24-year-old Abd al-Muhsam Hasuna of the Palestinian neighborhood of Beit Hanina, was shot and killed at the scene.
