Spewing lies and hatred, a British lawmaker claimed Israel is executing Palestinians and lamented the alleged Jewish influence in British politics.

Sir Gerald Kaufman, a Member of the British Parliament, claimed on Tuesday that Israel fabricates stabbing attacks as a ruse to execute Palestinians, and that “Jewish money” has influenced the Conservative Party.

Speaking at a Palestine Return Centre event in Parliament on Tuesday to a crowd of 45 people, Kaufman, a member of the Labour Party, charged that the British government had become “more pro-Israel” in recent years.

“It’s Jewish money, Jewish donations to the Conservative Party – as in the general election in May – support from the Jewish Chronicle, all of those things, bias the Conservatives,” Kaufman charged, according to the Jewish Chronicle.

He further charged that a “big group of Conservative members of parliament who are pro-Israel,” support Israel regardless of what its government does.

“They’re not interested in the fact that Palestinians are living a repressed life, and are liable to be shot at any time. In the last few days alone the Israelis have murdered 52 Palestinians and nobody pays attention and this government doesn’t care,” he further alleged, neglecting to point out that they were killed while carrying out terror attacks or participating in violent riots.

He also failed to mention that 11 Israelis were murdered in Palestinian terror attacks over the past five weeks.

The British MP, a known critic of Israel, also alleged that Israel was making up the recent spate of Palestinian terror attacks in order to allow it to “execute Palestinians.”

His proof of this was an email he received from “a friend” who lives in Jerusalem.

“More than half the stabbing claims were definitely fabricated. The other half, some were true, the others there was no way to tell since they executed Palestinians and no one asked questions,” he read from the email.

“Not only that, they got to the point of executing Arab-looking people and in the past few days they killed two Jewish Israelis and an Eritrean just because they looked Arab. They fabricated a stabbing story to justify the killings before they found out they were not Palestinians.”

Kaufman has a long history of making false and inflammatory allegations against the Jewish State and making anti-Semitic remarks. Earlier this year he caused a stir when he said that Israel uses the Holocaust to justify the murder of Palestinians.

In 2011, he apologized after greeting Jewish MP Louise Ellman by muttering “here we are, the Jews again” when she rose to speak in the house of Commons.

In 2009, during Israel’s Operation Cast Lead against Hamas’ terror network in Gaza, he blamed the IDF of Nazi-like conduct. “On Sky News a few days ago, the spokeswoman for the Israeli Army Major Livovich [sic] was asked about the Israeli killing of, at that time, eight hundred Palestinians. The total is now a thousand. She replied instantly, ‘Five hundred of them were militants.’ That was the reply of a Nazi. I suppose the Jews fighting for their lives in the Warsaw Ghetto could have been dismissed as militants,” he said at the House of Commons.

Labour MP John Mann, the chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group Against Antisemitism, told the Chronicle that “these are the incoherent ramblings of an ill-informed demagogue.”

The President of the Board of Deputies Jonathan Arkush condemned Kaufman’s for his “outrageous comments.”

“We challenge him to travel to Israel immediately to ride around with the emergency services and to see for himself whether it is possible to fabricate knife attacks when victims are lying on the ground with blood pouring from their wounds. We also invite the Labour Party to initiate disciplinary proceedings to investigate his disgraceful words,” Arkush said in a statement.

Mark Gardner, director of communications at the Community Security Trust (CST), an anti-Semitism watchdog in the UK, stated that Kaufman’s language “invites anti-Semitic interpretation about Jews, money and controlling politicians; and the belated hand wringing from others in the room is meaningless if they did not actually protest when the remarks were made.”
