Taglit-Birthright is a not-for-profit educational organization that sponsors free 10-day heritage trips to Israel for young Jewish adults. ‘Taglit’ is the Hebrew word for discovery.
On Sunday evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed thousands of enthusiastic participants, who applauded throughout the address and gave him a standing ovation.
“Come to Israel. Thrive in Israel,” the Israeli leader told the audience. “We’re here to stay forever!”
