Holocaust Survivor Covid Vaccine

Around 900 Holocaust survivors died from COVID-19 in Israel last year, according to the country’s Central Bureau of Statistics.

Yesterday, as the world marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day, honoring the memories of those who perished, Israel also mourned the loss of at least 900 Holocaust survivors who have perished from COVID-19 in the Jewish state.

Recently, European Jewish Congress President Dr. Moshe Kantor called on world leaders to ensure that survivors around the globe have access to corona vaccines, which are now readily available in Israel.

He also warned against the rising anti-Semitism and conspiracy theories the pandemic has brought about.
