Elton John to Ask: ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight?’ in Tel Aviv

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Saturday night is alright for Elton John to rock Tel Aviv in May. 

The internationally acclaimed singer and songwriter Sir Elton John is returning to Israel in May 2016 to perform for an Israeli audience in “HaYarkon” Park in Tel Aviv, Israel’s Ynet reported Thursday.

The performance in Israel has not been officially announced and is yet to be listed on his site’s tour schedule.

This will be Elton John’s fourth performance in Israel. He first performed in the Jewish State during its Independence Day in 1979, and then in 1993 and 2010.

Speaking to reporters about performing in Israel, he related that he had never encountered an audience that was so engaged and took an active part in his show. He said that everyone joined in the singing and he was upset that because of the lighting he was unable to see the audience he described as “warm” and “excited.”
