Egipto advirtió al titular de la Autoridad Palestina, Mahmoud Abbas, que nuevas sanciones a la Franja de Gaza «darán lugar a más violencia y derramamiento de sangre» mientras trata de convencer a la organización terrorista Hamas para que no tome medidas que puedan agravar las tensiones con la oficialista Fatah, reveló hoy, miércoles, un funcionario de Ramallah al diario israelí The Jerusalem Post.
En los últimos días, oficiales de inteligencia han mantenido conversaciones maratónicas con líderes de ambos bandos y y otras facciones en un intento de poner fin a la disputa y alcanzar una tregua con Israel.
La delegación está encabezada por el director de la “cartera palestina” de la Dirección General de Inteligencia de Egipto, Ahmed Abdel Khaleq.
