El diputado británico David Burrowes durante un viaje de tres días a Israel y a los territorios palestinos, organizado por el Israel Allies Caucus, al ver «la realidad sobre el terreno», se opuso a la votación del Reino Unido sobre un Estado palestino.
La Cámara de los Comunes mantendrá un debate simbólico sobre el estado palestino en Londres el próximo lunes. El diputado inglés, David Burrowes dijo al diario israelí The Jerusalem Post que «es un error y que así no se avanza en la causa de la paz».
«El voto para reconocer un estado palestino, no es (el procedimiento) correcto», dijo Burrowes.
