Hace 95 años se realizó la Conferencia de Paz en París

El 12 de enero de 1919 se realizó en París la Conferencia de Paz.

El Congreso Judío Estadounidense estuvo representado por su presidente, el juez Julian Mack, el rabino Stephen Wise (foto) y el titular del Comité Judío Americano, Louis Marshall.

En Francia se unieron con otras organizaciones judías mundiales para formar el Comité des Delegation Juives (Comité de Delegaciones Judías), liderado por Mack, y luego, por Marshall, con el publicista sionista Leo Motzkin como secretario.

Lograron aprobar un plan para garantizar el derecho de las minorías a establecer sus propias escuelas, hablar sus propias lenguas y conservar la ciudadanía plena.
