¿Qué son los payasos médicos?, se pregunta Shoshi, un payaso médico israelí del Centro Médico Ziv en el norte de Israel.

Los pacientes son diversos – no sólo judíos israelíes y árabes, sino también refugiados sirios que huyeron a Israel, un estado enemigo, donde se les da un tratamiento gratis, que muchas veces les salvan la vida.

Muchos han sido enseñados a odiar judíos y cristianos, pero Johnny, un payaso-israelí árabe cristiano, ayuda a superar sus miedos y prejuicios.

“Es un muy bonito cuando ves a judíos, cristianos y musulmanes jugando juntos en el hospital”, dice Johnny. “Empezamos a hacer la paz en el hospital”.
