Israeli security forces eliminated the terrorist who drove the motorcycle used to abduct Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or from the Nova music festival during the October 7 massacre, the IDF and Shin Bet announced Sunday.
Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr was killed Saturday in an Israeli airstrike in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza in a joint operation involving the IDF, Shin Bet and the Israel Police’s Gideonim Unit 33 of Lahav 433.
According to the security agencies, Sakr entered Israel during the Hamas-led October 7, 2023, attack and served as the motorcycle driver involved in the abduction of Argamani and Or from the Nova festival.

The IDF and Shin Bet described Sakr as a terrorist affiliated with global jihadist organizations in Gaza. A separate police statement identified him as an ISIS terrorist. Authorities said that during the war he supplied weapons to Hamas.
Israeli security officials said Sakr had recently continued planning attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians alongside members of the military wings of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
According to the joint statement, those activities constituted repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement, and Sakr was targeted from the air to eliminate the threat he posed.
Argamani was rescued from captivity in Nuseirat in June 2024 during a daring Israeli operation that also freed Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv. Or remained captive in Gaza for more than two years before being released in October 2025.
Israeli authorities previously announced the elimination of two other terrorists they said were responsible for the abduction of Argamani and Or, Ahmad Ibrahim Rajab Shaer and Ahmad Abu Marahil, shortly after Or’s release.
The IDF said Israeli forces remain deployed in Gaza in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue acting against immediate threats to Israeli troops and civilians.
