When an IDF unit on patrol came under fire, the soldiers fired back, killing two Palestinian terrorists.
Two Palestinian terrorists were killed after they attacked an IDF patrol on Sunday in Samaria.
The incident occurred in northern Samaria when an IDF unit on patrol to stop rock-throwers came under fire. The soldiers fired back, killing two terrorists who were carrying an M-16 assault rifle and a knife.
No Israelis were wounded in the incident.
Palestinian sources report that the two terrorists were aged 15.
In a separate incident, IDF trackers uncovered a phone-activated explosive device in the Shechem (Nablus) area. Sappers successfully dismantled the device. No Israelis were harmed.
Sunday’s incidents were preceded by several Palestinian attacks on Saturday.
IDF forces shot and killed a knife-wielding Palestinian woman who attacked an Israeli soldier on guard at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron, wounding him and a Palestinian who apparently intervened to try to stop the attack. He was more seriously wounded, and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Later in the day, a Palestinian terrorist drove his vehicle into a group of police officers near Ma’ale Adumim in the Jerusalem area, lightly injuring three of them.
The officers responded by firing at the car, wounding the three Palestinians in the vehicle.
These incidents was the last in a long series of almost daily terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of the past five months, claiming the lives of 30 victims and wounding over 300.
