Taking further action against the latest wave of Palestinian terror, Israeli security forces destroyed the homes of terrorists.

Israeli security forces demolished the homes of two terrorists and sealed the room of a third in Jerusalem early Tuesday morning, operating in accordance with the directive issued by Minister of Defense Moshe Ya’alon.

The homes belonged to Abu Jamil Jasan Ben Muhammad and Muhammed Naif El- Ja’abis, and the sealed-off room belonged to Muatez Ibrahim Halil Hijazi. All three carried out devastating terror attacks in the capital a year ago.

On November 18, 2014, Abu Jamil Jasan Ben Muhammad and Abu Jamal Uday Ben Abed carried out a lethal attack on a synagogue in the neighborhood of Har Nof. The terrorists stormed the synagogue during morning prayers with axes, knives and guns, brutally murdering four civilians – Rabbi Calman Levin, Moshe Twersky, Avraham Shmuel Goldberg and Aryeh Kopinsky – and police officer Zidan Saif. Both terrorists were killed in a gun battle outside the synagogue.

El- Ja’abis murderered Avraham Waltz, a 29-year-old father of five, and injured seven others in Jerusalem on August 4, 2014. El-Ja’abis drove a bulldozer out of a construction site onto a main street, deliberately striking and running over pedestrians before ramming his tractor into a public bus, overturning it and continued the heinous attack by hitting the vehicle repeatedly.

Hijazi attempted to assassinate Rabbi Yehuda Glick on October 29, 2014. Yehuda Glick, who promotes equality for people of all faiths on the Temple Mount, was about to leave the Menachem Begin Heritage Center when Hijazi approached him, shooting four times and fleeing the scene. Hijazi was killed shortly after by Israeli police.

“The IDF will continue to act on orders from the government, while cooperating with other security bodies, and will not hesitate to take all legal steps at its disposal to harm terrorists and the elements that support them, to deter them from carrying out further attacks,” the IDF said in a statement.

The demolition of these homes was ordered already back in November last year, but were carried out only last night.

Israel carried out the demolitions, which are meant to serve as deterrence for potential terrorists who are plotting future attacks, as part of its war on the latest wave of Palestinian terror and in accordance with orders from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“We are allowing our forces to take strong action against those who throw rocks and firebombs. This is necessary in order to safeguard the security of Israeli citizens on the roads and everywhere,” Netanyahu stated on Monday.

“We are not prepared to give immunity to any rioter, inciter or terrorist anywhere; therefore, there are no restrictions on the action of our security forces. We will also lift restrictions regarding action against inciters. We will act against the Islamic Movement which, together with Hamas and the Palestinian Authority, is the main source of incitement,” he vowed.

We are in a difficult struggle, but one thing should be clear – we will win. Just as we defeated previous waves of terrorism, we will defeat this one as well,” he concluded.

Petition to the United States and European Union

We demand that all funding of the PA be stopped immediately. The brutal murder of Israelis committed by Palestinian terrorists throughout Israel is the latest result of ongoing PA incitement against Israeli citizens. Funding the PA means funding terror.
