The RISCO Group, based in Rishon L’Zion, is providing a comprehensive state-of-the-art security management solution to the World Cup games underway in Brazil.

The RISCO Group, an Israeli security company based in Rishon L’Zion, is providing security management for Arena Pantanal, a 40,000-seat stadium in Cuiaba, Brazil. It is one of 12 World Cup venues.

The “RISCO Group has had a presence in Brazil for many years and is known for its high-quality products,” the Jerusalem Post notes.

“For the purpose of this project, we joined forces with a local system integrator that was bidding for this project,” Hemy Fintsy, executive vice-president said, according to the Post.

“The system integrator also represents Panasonic and other infrastructure products,” he explained. “Our solutions met all the requirements of the bid in terms of functionality and timetable. We offered field proven solutions that were flexible enough to meet the requirements of the tender.”

The complex security project brings together hundreds of security cameras placed throughout the venue, as well as the sound, light and gate systems, all controlled through a first-rate command and control center. RISCO Group’s services also entail an advanced ticketing and validation system to prevent counterfeit tickets.

So far, three games have been played in the stadium without incident. RISCO Group is serving as the manager of the operation and providing technical support, working together with a local Brazilian firm to provide security for the stadium.

RISCO Group intends to use its success and experience working in Brazil to bid on security contracts for the upcoming Olympic Games, slated to take place in 2016.

RISCO Group’s success serves to further bolster Israel’s already excellent reputation in the world of security solutions.
