Jewish academic Dr. Marsha Levine displayed what can only be interpreted as blatant contempt for Israel and her fellow Jews after an Israeli schoolgirl asked her for information about horses.

A Jewish former professor at the United Kingdom’s Cambridge University refused to help a young Israeli girl with her homework because she was a citizen of the Jewish State and said she would assist her “when there is peace and justice for Palestinians in Palestine.”

The girl, Shachar Rabinovitch, aged 13, approached Dr. Marsha Levine, an archaeozoologist and an expert on the domestication and history of horses, with a series of questions on horses for a school project she was working on.

Instead of receiving an academic answer from Levine, Rabinovitch received a hateful diatribe against Israel and its supposed crimes against the allegedly persecuted Palestinians.

“I’ll answer your questions when there is peace and justice for Palestinians in Palestine,” Levine wrote. “I am a member of Jews for Justice for Palestinians (JFJFP). I support Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions [the anti-Israel BDS movement]. You might be a child, but if you are old enough to write to me, you are old enough to learn about Israeli history and how it has impacted on the lives of Palestinian people. Maybe your family has the same views as I do, but I doubt it.”

She ended by posting a link to JFJFP’s site, presumably for the girl’s education “which might help her for the rest of her life,” as she termed it.

“Why don’t they just say that they want us dead, that would be more elegant,” Rabinovitch’s mother wrote on her Facebook page on Monday. “Unbelievable, this response was sent to a 13-year-old girl who has not even has a chance to kill anyone, and she even supports world peace of fraternity,” she adds in apparent sarcasm.

‘The Jews Have Become the Nazis’

Contacted by the Jewish Chronicle on Tuesday for a response, Levine said she was not embarrassed by her words and that it was “fair” not to help the teenage girl.

“I didn’t ask her to email me,” Levine told the Jewish Chronicle. “I don’t know how she got my email address. I can do whatever I want. I didn’t invite her to email me. If she wanted to read anything I had written she could find it on the internet.”

“I made the decision that I have the choice not to waste my time on people who tread on the rights of other people,” the ex-academic wrote, relating to a 13-year-old girl.

“I didn’t do anything to her,” she claimed. “I said that when there is justice for Palestine I will answer her – that’s a fair answer. I’m a signatory to Jews for Justice for Palestinians and I sent her a link. I did it as a matter of conscience. The way Israel treats Palestinians is totally disgusting,”

“Benjamin Netanyahu wants ethnic cleansing. The Jews have become the Nazis. Jews are behaving just like the people who treated them. It’s not all Israelis or all Jews,” Levine continued, adding that due to their treatment of Palestinians in Gaza, Jews had “turned themselves into monsters.”
