The famed Bon Jovi band announced a Tel Aviv performance scheduled for July 25 at Hayarkon Park. It will be their second appearance in Israel.

The Israeli promoters announced on Monday that Bon Jovi will rock Tel Aviv as part of his “This House is Not for Sale Tour” tour.

The band last performed in Israel in October 2015. Their previous concert attracted some 50,000 fans.

“Israel really has a special audience. The 2015 show was hugely memorable to us,” Bon Jovi told Israeli reporters via email, according to the Jerusalem Post. “The fans were absolutely incredible and amazing, there was an electric energy in the air.” The rocker said he doesn’t know any Hebrew yet, but added, “If someone wants to help me out, I would be very happy to greet the Israeli audience with some Hebrew on the stage!”

Back in 2010, Bon Jovi announced his intention to bring the band to Israel as part of a concert tour, but the performance never materialized.

Bon Jovi has faced pressure from anti-Israel elements to boycott the Jewish state but has rebuffed the pressure.

The band has been playing since 1983, sold over 100 million records and performed more than 2,500 live concerts.
