Kuwaitis in the the small, oil-rich nation were irate over Czech ambassador Martin Dvorak’s post in support of Israel.

The ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kuwait recently posted an image online of himself with the Israeli flag as Palestinian terror groups target Israeli civilians in a week-long barrage of rockets and missiles.

Palestinians have killed a number of Israeli’s with their rockets, including a five-year-old boy.

Kuwaitis in the small oil-rich nation fumed over Czech ambassador Martin Dvorak’s post. These Kuwaitis support Palestinian terror groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad, which are funded by Iran, the world’s top state-sponsor of terror, according to the United States.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry summoned Dvorak on Monday over the post to express “its categorical rejection and strong disapproval.”

Increasingly, Gulf Arab nations recognize Israel, including the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, both of which signed peace treaties with Israel in 2020.

Kuwait has not recognized Israel, instead supporting the Palestinians’ decades-long rejectionist approach to the peace process.

In response, Dvorak wrote an open letter on the embassy’s Twitter account on Monday apologizing for offending Kuwaitis, who posted angry messages to his Instagram account.
