While a Florida family lost all of their other possessions in a blaze that consumed their home, firefighters were able to save an invaluable heirloom: a 100-year-old Torah.

“It was one of the worst days of Paul Clarke’s life. But now his neighbors and local firefighters have allowed Clarke and his family to focus not on what they lost, but on what they saved,” reported Florida’s WPBF this week.

A devastating house fire ravaged Clarke’s home, destroying almost all of his family’s possessions.

Miraculously, a 100-year-old Torah was saved from the fire, without a single burn mark or drop of water damage.
