Israeli forces carried out more than 10 strikes across the Gaza Strip since midnight Sunday, with at least 18 people reportedly killed.

Senior Palestinian figure Mohammad Dahlan claimed late Saturday that Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, told him he is working with Israel to halt military strikes in Gaza as part of the emerging Board of Peace framework.
Dahlan’s remarks came after President Trump announced Thursday what he called a “historic” agreement under the Board of Peace to secure the complete disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza. The reported 15-point roadmap envisions Hamas surrendering its weapons, relinquishing control of Gaza, and transferring authority to a new Palestinian administration under international supervision.
In a statement, Dahlan said implementation of the agreement now depends on Israel fully halting its military campaign.
“Mr. Jared Kushner has informed us that he is working with the Israeli side to stop the attacks on Gaza,” Dahlan wrote. He added that his team remains engaged with U.S. officials to ensure the agreement is fully implemented and called on all Palestinian factions to abide by the deal, end armed activity, and prepare for Gaza’s postwar transition.
Despite Trump’s announcement, significant disagreements remain over how—or even whether—the framework will be implemented.
On Friday, a senior Israeli official rejected reports suggesting Israel had agreed to withdraw under the proposed roadmap, reiterating that the IDF will not leave its current security line until Hamas is fully and verifiably disarmed.
Senior Hamas official Ghazi Hamad likewise made clear that Hamas would not begin disarming until Israel first withdraws from Gaza, underscoring the wide gap separating the two sides.
Israel also signaled Sunday that military operations remain unchanged. The IDF announced it had eliminated Salem Jamal Abd al-Rahman Abu Labad, a Hamas Nukhba commander who participated in the October 7 massacre at Kibbutz Nir Oz, along with Mohammed Abd al-Nasser Mohammed Khatib, a commander in Hamas’s Maghazi Battalion.
In a separate announcement, the military said it killed Alaa Imad Khamis Taramsi, a terrorist from the Army of Islam, Hassan Ibrahim Shahada Kahman, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist, and Ahmed Khadri, a Hamas terrorist from the Jabaliya Battalion, saying all three were involved in advancing terror attacks against Israeli troops and civilians.
The IDF said Southern Command forces remain deployed throughout Gaza in accordance with the current agreement and will continue operating to eliminate any threat.

Israeli security officials also pushed back against reports that strikes would cease, stressing that Israel has no intention of halting military operations in Gaza unless Hamas fully disarms. According to a security source, Southern Command has received no new instructions, and operational policy remains unchanged despite the ongoing diplomatic efforts.
