Palestinians brawl

The Arab League rebuffed the Palestinians’ demand that it condemn Israel’s peace agreement with the United Arab Emirates.

On Wednesday, the Arab League refused to vote in favor of a Palestinian Authority proposal condemning the United Arab Emirates’ recently announced decision to formalize official diplomatic ties with Israel.

“Discussions … did not lead in the end to agreement about the draft communique that was proposed by the Palestinian side,” Arab League Assistant Secretary General Hossam Zaki commented, Reuters reported.

Zaki pointed a finger at the Palestinians for the resolution falling flat, explaining that the PA wanted total condemnation or nothing.

Palestinian leaders blasted the historic peace deal since the day it was announced in August, a sentiment echoed by the brutal mullahs running Iran, but public figures in major Arab nations did not share the sentiment.

Shortly after the announcement, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain opened their airspaces to Israel, a major diplomatic victory for the Jewish statement and a tacit expression of approval for the UAE peace deal.

Meanwhile, the Palestinians accused other Arab nations of “stabbing them in the back” and PA chief negotiator Saeb Erekat demanded Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit reject the peace agreement or step down.

Predictably, the Hamas terror group blasted the Arab League for failing to condemn peace between Israel and the UAE.
