The Rehabilitation Division said it has significantly expanded services since the start of the war, employing about 4,000 mental health professionals—four times the pre-war number—and tripling rehabilitative housing capacity.
These changes have halved the case fatality rate to 7.1 percent—compared to 15 percent in 2006—led to a sixfold increase in survival among the critically injured compared to that war, and tripled the survival rate seen in 2014.
