Sixty years after Israel returned to Hebron, thousands of Jews filled the Cave of the Patriarchs with joyous Sukkot prayers, waving the four species where their forefathers are buried.

After months of construction, the Cave of the Patriarchs' courtyard ceiling has been completed with new glass fittings, improving sunlight entry and providing better protection against the elements.
